    Hi

We are currently building a house, and the nearest fibre box is on a pole 300m down the road. We have been told that the connection will be extended whenever the next tranche of the rollout takes place, but obviously who knows when that may be.

My knowledge on fibre connections isn't great, but if any of the connections in the box weren't being used, would it be an option for us to run a duct to the pole, and have one of the connections reassigned to us? Has anyone had any experience in this before?

Have a look at other threads identical to this in the last week.
