Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm lucky enough to live close to the Guinness Brewery, and for the last week or two have been getting the lovely burnt-y barley, with a little hops-y yeasty smell from there. Have stopped when walking down the street to get a good snout full :D

I used to live close to the Guinness as well. I can recognise that smell anywhere in Dublin now, when the wind comes from the west.

    Don't like it though

Snow Fairy shower gel from Lush, and it's back! YAY!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,345 ✭✭✭Dunjohn

The family I stayed with in Krakow last summer had this bottle of green apple-flavoured soap, the cheap kind that you'd buy in Mace or somewhere over here, with the strongest, most incredible appley smell I'd ever smelt. I swear, my hands have never been washed as often as during those two weeks. Haven't been able to find similar since.

Ahh firelighters. I bit a piece off the end of one once to see if it tasted as good as it smelled. It didn't. And I wish I could say it was years and years ago, but it wasn't.
