Less than €18, so not the riskiest purchase, but every cent counts.
Can anyone review/recommend the aldi hair straightening brush?

I've had one since last year and it's fine. I tend to use it if I'm short on time and have to spritz some dry shampoo to get me through the work day, and take out any rumpled kinks. I've also taken it on work trips where I can use the hotel hairdryer and use the hotbrush to smooth it out.
I haven't tried to do any fancy updos or anything like that.

I bought it and like it so far. It wouldn’t take the place of hair straighteners but it’s grand for €17.
