Separation with partner after 14 years with 2 kids and a mortgage together

Hi Guys, Can somebody please advise on what rights a father has if they are to separate from there partner of 14 years. We have 2 kids aged 3 and 6 together, also have a home we bought in a joint mortgage. What way does the state side regarding kids visitation if we were to sell the home. Thanks in Advance

You refer to your partner, not your spouse - Are you married? That makes a lot of difference...

Try mediation firstly. If it goes full legal everyone suffers - apart from the lawyers.
