Seeing as I can't swim, I think I'll have to pass.*

*Also staying in out of the cold and getting a sleep in are other factors.

I might chance swimming down to the bottom of a bottle of voddie....but that will be the height of it - fair play to all those who actually do swim tomorrow *brrrr*

I think an uncle of mine is going for it. Apparently the sand is colder than the water itself.

I'm going to chance it tomorrow in Limerick. Is it insane to do it without a wetsuit?

I had a post up in the Dublin section enquiring about sponsored swim's today and didn't get any info back, otherwise I'd have went straight in.

    :D

Never have done it and not doing it this year, due to the lack of togs. Although if I can do it naked and be guaranteed immunity from being arrested, I might...

Have to do it some time before I die anyway

Have my togs on and ready to head down (no wetsuit). All bright and sunny but only now I see the frost. Oh dear........Can't back out now, 4 others in my family doing it too.
I've done it 3 times before but last year just couldn't. Never got sponsored for it though.
