.300 PRC Hornady, A .300 win mag killer?

    Hornady just got a DOD contract over in the US to supply .300 PRC which means their going to tool up for production , this could be the .30 cal version of the 6.5creedmore
    Looks like a 2000 yard cartridge that's still a .30cal which means it's unrestricted

    What do you think lads looks like it might be a great cartridge for this country if it gets going, for target shooting and maybe hunting Reds over wide open spaces

    Nah, i reckon the .243, 6.5, .270 and .308 will still rule the roost. Economies of scale, like other forms of logic, don't really apply in ireland.

    Even the humble .17hmr had its doubters back not too long ago and it is very popular here.
    For it to be successful here it will have to be successful in the uk too
