Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

I am looking to get a custom made box made up, 300mm square x 60mm height from sheet steel/aluminium. Needs to be relatively light weight. Can anyone recommend anywhere in Ireland to get one made, preferably in Dublin.

I am also looking for a company that does powder coating too.

    Thanks!

I would strongly recommend Tallaght Powder Coating, see link:

I've quite a small job to get coated, does anyone know if they have a minimum order amount?

Slightly off topic, but can anyone recommend a hot dip galvaniser in dublin who will do small jobs?

They will all do small jobs only they will charge you the minimum handling charge . Usually upwards of 70. For smaller jobs it is usually more economical to use stainless.

Yea as the job is quite small i don't think its worth the €80.

What would people recommend for protecting mild steel outdoors? I've seen on some welding forums they recommend the Aldi metal care paint (DTM?)?
