Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The Slate and its strips

Hi, I'm doing some research into controversial comic strips. I've covered the obvious bases like Viz, Electric Soup and Skank, but I'm trying to track down a couple of the strips that ran in The Slate, specifically "Blacks in the Jacks" and 'The Thomson & Venables Boyband'.
A few issues were scanned and uploaded onto Brand New Retro but they (understandably) don't include these strips.
Does anyone have scans or copies? Or can anyone point me to an archive that might have them? Somewhat surprisingly the BL doesn't hold a copy of the print run.
    Thanks,
