I would like to find up-to-date information on volunteering to help the homeless in Dublin city. I am aware of https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056100611 however that thread dates back to 2010.

I discovered http://humanstoo.ie which seemed to be exactly what I was looking for but unfortunately it appears they are now defunct - I've reached out multiple times without reply and their Facebook and Twitter accounts are gone.

Could someone recommend the best way to get involved? I know I could just show up in town with food and supplies but coordinating and working with others is a more effective approach.

Thanks for making the effort. Homelessness is not just for the Winter season but it's most important to consider others when it's coldest. Remember there are complex reasons for homelesseness but they are people deserving of respect and hope.
