Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey,

It's been a number of years since I've been involved in canoeing. Looking at getting back in for this years Descent.

Anyone with info on what's going on in the touring double market? Can't find any details of Kemacraft who used to do the Liffey Winner. I'll post in the wanted section of irishmarathoncanoeing.com also to see if any 2nd hands around. Any info greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
saw your ad on irish marathon canoeing. In case you didnt see, mark redmond (site moderator) responded, you can probably still get them from Mick keating who made them before (kemakraft) around €1450, mick.kayak@hotmail.com or call him on 087 2187243.

For doing the liffey, the liffey winner is the fastest t2 by miles . . .

It is fibreglass, so damage is possible if you take the wrong shoot, but it can be easily repaired.

    Tony.

Thanks for that. I've tons of old world experience with fibreglass canoes so no problems there. Grew up with them. They weren't always the neatest of jobs though. ;) Owned a Kemakraft Gola at one stage.
