Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Any recommendations for a good brand of syringe/needle system for anything from calves to cows?

We get our Vet to order in Kruuse needles (aluminium luer lock) for us. I think there are 100 needles in each box - 1.6 x 25mm for calves/weanlings and 1.8 x 38mm (?) for older cattle. We buy disposable plastic syringes 10/20/25ml from our Vet.

I just pick up a selection whatever they have in the local co-op. Haven't a clue what brand they are, but they're fairly cheap disposable ones. They do the job fine. When I'm buying vaccines and anything else injectable, they usually throw in a few needles and syringes too.

I prefer center point syringes as opposed to the ones that are offset. IMO center points are stronger and less lightly to break if an animals moves in the crush.
