Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can we have some potatoe price watching for 7.5 or 10kg please. Starting today Aldi and Dunnes are 1 euro a kilo, that's 7.50euro for a 7.5 kilo bag.

    SuperValu roosters 5euro for a 4kg bag,that's dearer than the other stores, 1.25euro a kilo, they don't sell a 7.5 bag.

    40 cent a kg if you buy 50 kilo's.

I predict this price will not be beaten, potatoes are going to get more expensive after the weather we had the last 6 months.

you should check for similar local grocers, not the fancy organic ones, one near me closed a while ago but some stuff was much cheaper than tesco.

Wholesale potatoes are about twice the price as last year, was reading about chippers putting the prices up because of it.

Thanks, but those Tesco spuds aren't roosters, they are not good for boiling, roasting or making chips.

Avoid Roosters at all costs for roasting. Bland to the point of tasteless.
Changed to Golden Wonder a few months ago and couldn't believe the difference in taste, wonderful proper tasting roasties.
