Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Souper Cheep Charge Cables

I cleaned out the local Lidly today, it might be past the special offer but these jump leads are a mega bargain. It's the second time I've filled the trolley with 'em.

They're advertised on the packet as 25mm² but they're closer to 35mm² judging by the closest sized lug they fit into.
That's a market value ~€50 of fine stranded copper cable, perfect for split charging [if you get a serious contactor eg. Albright SW80] for the low, low price of €13!

I've pulled 100A off a Merc Sprinter using that cable. If you've never measured it or it's a factory setup then you're probably getting about 15A on 2.5mm².
    Recommended upgrade!

I've superceeded Steling "120A" battery to battery charger performance with it and lower alternator temperatures while I was at it....Yurp, €13 of cable's better than £600 boxes wired on €13 of cable!...
