Online broker for US Citizen

    Does have any have any recommendations for an online broker that accepts US citizens. I have a DeGiro account but my friend was born in the US so they can't open one there. I know opening an account with Charles Schwab takes a bit more effort so I wanted to check here before potentially being refused there also.
