Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    One red, first ever of any kind. I did and still disagree with it but sometimes DR doesn't want to hear. At best harsh and worst wrong is still my take on it....one rescinded yellow also.

    The ban was due to an opinion I have regarding abortion. It's an emotive subject and I feel the Mod who banned me let their personal opinions cloud their judgment, as I did not break the charter. I didn't bother appealing.

    I seemed to have had a bumper year for bannings and cardings in 2014. Mostly from mod's indulging their own personal red button issues. There was a time when a banning was usually a fair cop, its all a bit more commisioner callinan and minister shatter these days.

    The one nice thing about being here a while is you see certain types of posters come on here from the get-go busting their balls to make mod and then they want to run as many forums as they can for a chance of a shot at the big C mod title. They usually implode after a few years and reveal themselves to be the completely radio rental headbanger that you suspected they were before disappearing off in the internets equivalent of a white jacket

    That said, some of them types do quite well for themselves here. Presumably the sociopaths :)

    Do they still have that jokeshop of an appeal forum?

    Some people just control themselves better online. I've said a few things that were borderline but got away with it. Possibly because of the people I was responding to were acting a dick at times (the one person I remember thinking I should be warned for or at least told to knock it off was genuinely being a dick so I think it was fair then).

    Thats a point of view. Generally though if I'm sober, I wouldn't say anything on line that I wouldn't say to your face.

    I have an entirely clean sheet, on this and previous accounts.

    I don't want to be a Mod.

    I broadly agree but you can see people get on the wrong side of a mod, and i presume once your known as a trouble maker you attract much more attention.
    I don't think mods in general are bad most seem pretty sensible but its a big site and there is some ones that i've heard are genuinely a bit nuts.
    There's an interesting thread on a different part of the internet that involves the aviation forum for example (and I know of one or two from someone that mods a smaller forum here)

    Yes, the Mods are just like "people" the majority are OK, a few are cvnts and a few are nuts.

    The CMods are a different kettle altogether though :)
