Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    I am not sure if it was ever said to me but it’s the best advice I can give to people based on everything I have learned so far. First ‘fake it until you make it’. Don’t let anything pass you by because you think you can’t do it. Grab everything and learn fast.

    Second is no matter how close you are to someone be it a firend or lover don’t allow your happiness to be dictated solely by their actions. People will invariably let you down so expect it. Sounds callous but it’s something I have learned the hard way. It doesn’t mean you have to be an island or not give 100% to friends or partners but make sure you will be happy alone and not relying on them.
