Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There was a day or two last week that it was very warm and the past few days were freezing.

What's up? I want the warm weather back.

Had to put a hat on today for the first time.

I actually like that. It's amazing the difference already in the temperatures.

Wrap up well, layers are your friend and enjoy.

It will be longer days after 22 December. Always remember that. Makes up for cold, wind, hurricanes and all the rest!!

Wasn't always like this. Just for the record. 15 degrees last week. 2 degrees this week in some places. That's unusual.

It does have to be said that last November was pretty mild compared to this year's.

Don't know where you're living but it's not been 15 degrees here for months.

Pretty shocking alright. Ireland having wildly quixotic weather patterns?

The global warming racket not working out.

Not sure what typical variation is but the jet stream is getting less predictable with global warming.

Since they renamed it climate change because the earth is not actually heating up it has all gone Pete Thong.

It was unusually mild for November - now it's more like the usual in November. Fairly inane stuff tbh.

I also think this is talk that the Greenland ice melt could disrupt the gulf stream and this could make Ireland colder.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is a scientific and intergovernmental body under the auspices of the United Nations,[1][2] set up at the request of member governments, dedicated to the task of providing the world with an objective, scientific view of climate change and its political and economic impacts.[3] It was first established in 1988 by two United Nations

I bet now you find out you were wrong about that you will go on a journey of self reflection and not just move on to your next argument against global warming.
