Dear Sir/Madam, I am dissatisfied with the behavior of a board’s member who is also a moderator. Namely cass. I have been accused by him publicly of knowing him (I don’t even know his name) and engaging in a personal attack on him. He has further attacked me in other threads. And today when I challenging hate speech by grizzly and fake news and statements. I was bullied and attacked by an online thug who also broke several other rules. It was noted by a mod and no action taken, a mod you have expressed concerns about recently.

Can you see the relevant range fees refund thread unedited? I have reported the pm’s and heard no more. I have screenshots of all relevant posts. I reported his moderation today and twice I reported grizzly for making fake/false news he claimed as fact. I further contacted cass objecting about his failure to objectively deal with grizzly. I believe they know each other. I was bullied, abused and threatened by grizzly and no action taken against him.

You reported one post from the Range refund thread. I have looked at that and find absolutely no issue with the post in question. I do though have an issue with you stating

"Most people understand yes or no. I’m sorry I’m not at your level of intellect and understanding of the English language."

And you accuse the mod of arrogance

Another mod closed that thread a month ago. I am entirely satisfied with the actions of the mods in that thread

You have also reported a PM from the mod. I am seeing no evidence of the bullying you claim.

I would add that if posts have been deleted by mods, they have been actioned. You are unaware of any further actions the mod may or may not make, but I am also satisfied with the way your other recent reports have been dealt with

Now could you please provide a link/quote to any abuse/threats issued in-thread and report any PMs as I can see no evidence in the posts and PM you have reported

He states he knows me. I have not met him, do not know him. This a falsehood.
I have further complaints in relation to him. He has spread false information relating to licencing and shooting and in fairness Cookimonster corrected him but…

Furthermore in the off topic thread in shooting I was threatened and abused. I believe the mods judgement was impeded due to a close personal friendship with the person in question.
No action was actioned against the offender. Secondly the poster posted falsehoods that could incite hate.

The first line in the attached post he states himself he is breaking site rules

But the mod did not breach any rules. It was probably a shorthand way of saying they were doing something that should never be demanded of any site user. They were simply volunteering personal information

What part of my post was not civil? And his post was personal abuse. Is there one rule for everyone else and another rule for mods?

You haven’t addressed his posting of outright lies and falsehoods?

Re "falsehood" it's one person's word against another's. I don't think I know either of you in real life, but I do personally know hundreds of posters on this site. Nothing to do with my Admin or mod powers. With specialist forums like this (in my case it was cycling) posters can often have a quick word in real life and as a result actually know they are both on Boards

When I read through that post though I see it as conciliatory and certainly not intended to cause offence

Re your complaint this morning I have asked the mod not to engage with posters like that, but it was very clearly the culmination of conversations where you were in disagreement

As I've indicated, I think it was not particularly civil.

Not particularly civil? I’ll have to disagree entirely on that point. I’ve outlined a point of conversation in relation to trump appointments which have gone pear shaped in one form or another and he’s allowed to tell me publicly that I’ve got a mental disorder and to keep taking the 3 a day??? That is the definition of personal abuse. If it had been the other way around i would be banned indefinitely. Please have the same standard.

Look at what I am appealing my infraction. I compared his continual change of position to Donal Rumsfeld to lighten the mood in a debate and got infracted for personal abuse. Which I do not believe it was. Now compare that to what he has said about me publicly.

I shall patiently await your reply

Furthermore he states In what can be politely called a rant in the off topic thread he has accused me of following him and picking fights with him. To the contrary I was engaging with grizzly and in fact he thanked one of my replies. And cass placed himself in and start picking at me. He was dismissive of my views etc. using terms like “Nah” etc. I responded with a point and then he made personal abusive messages.

He locked the thread when I called him out on it. His narrative is false and is leading people to believe I “feigned” injury/insult.

This reaction is not balanced and considered, and an attempt to divert attention away from his abuse attempting to blame me. In essence victim shaming. I am sure boards will see the truth.

I’m absolutely perplexed that his behaviour has not been addressed. His victim shaming post which is worthy of a ban on its own continues to be viewed.

You consider his post (with his mod hat on) is not
A) abusive

inciting hatred towards me
C) inappropriate
D) aggressive (with an ultimatum)
E) inaccurate/False (he states I followed him to start a fight where I was clearly engaging with grizzly prior to his engaging with me)
F) discloses actions publicly I’ve taken against him (again victim blaming).

If you do consider his actions appropriate may I address his moderator post on page 440 off the off topic shooting thread?
