Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Do you have a favourite podcast?

Do I don’t use podcasts at all.
I find there’s too much choice with things like podcast, Netflix etc so I choose not too bother.

Am I really missing out on anything ?

You can focus your listening on what you're really interested in is their main advantage over talk radio for me.

Do you think zero covid is a realistic objective (before everybody is vaccinated)?

Tough one. Prob possible in the beginning if we had taken a hard line on border restrictions and travel.

Do you think ireland is too gracious when making rules. Rules made to be interpreted?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,289 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

No I think it's the mindset of the Irish people that rules don't apply to them.

    Anything make you smile today?

When foreign travel resumes, where would you like to go?

Ulaanbaatar Mongolia. I want to stop there on the trans siberian. Strange one but I've wanted to do this since I was a nipper.

Any strange sandwich combination that you like

Only an out of service one that was being converted to a camper.

Some People are funny about using ambulance as campers because of what may have happened in them. Do you feel spooked by places like that?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,289 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

No, I think that would be cool :)
I'd be freaked out camping in an old church for example alright.

Would you prefer to 'rough it' on a holiday or go 5*?

If given a choice - 5 star. But after this latest lockdown I would sleep in a tramps boot if it got me out of the county.

Would going to Moscow on holiday be of any interest to you?

I have visited about 5 and lived on one for a year.

Do you think life is more normal there now in this pandemic or have they to restrict movements and bubbles?

Probably some restrictions but I doubt the locals are not interacting with each other like us.

    Do you have snow

With lockdown and working from home I believe i am active and productive, but a nap or snack is always my next milestone.. Kind of like a house cat

Do you feel housecoats are over/under rated..

  • Registered Users Posts: 270 ✭✭beerguts

    Yes, I do indeed.

Have you any unusual body markings or features?

Yes, unfortunately I was obese for several years. I lost a lot of weight rapidly and got very prominent stretch marks on my stomach. They are fading slowly but it was self inflicted.

    How is your broadband

Generally patchy and an absolute nightmare this evening, possibly connected with weather

Have you thought about (or are you already) double masking?

Apart from a home/car, what's the thing you've spent most amount of money on?

    Not a bit.

Apart from a home/car, what's the thing you've spent most amount of money on?

Either a holiday or a guitar, probably holiday ‘just’ when everything factored in.

Guitar was about 1800, spent more on a cruise when flights, hotel in Barcelona, lounge, sea view cabin were accounted for, and spending money but worth every cent.

What’s the worst value purchase you ever made ?

A car (won't name model) but basically within 6 months, I had about 900e worth of fixing to do to it. Afterwards, people said 'oh yeah X make is shyte'.
Got rid of it soon after and lost money on the trade in.

I only follow my county in GAA. I don't support any clubs. Not into soccer or rugby.
