Building a wall using 350 blocks, how much sand and cement would be required for this job?

Blocks on the flat or side? I.e. is the wall 215mm or 100mm thick

I'm guessing that the area you need covered is roughly :
    0.44x0.215x350 + 0.1x0.215x350 = 40.63m2
Allowing for a 10mm thick mortar, that's 0.46 cubic meters of mortar.
Allow for some loss, depending on how tidy you are, I'd say about a half a cubic meter of mortar roughly
Allow then for 1:4 cement to sand, I'd be saying 16 x 25kg bags of cement and 54 x 25kg bags of sand.
That's a guess on my part though so wait until somebody else confirms! :)
