Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My god, who would hire Dermot to do your house:confused:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,204 ✭✭✭jos28

Left that to the brother too Mrs D. On a positive note we will all get a few bob from the sale. It's a new kitchen for me, my Mam already planned my kitchen before she passed. I swear I could hear her as I was going around the showrooms !
Maybe I should get Dermot to build me a cube

I always think that the kitchen is the heart of the home so it is a nice tribute to your mam, Jos.

Yes too many options, I would have to go the catalogue route, just tell the builder that you want the one on Page 56 and paint it Cornish Cream outside :D

    Assuming Kingspan knew!
There is a fair bit of flat roof to have assumed on. Poor form for the QS.

Have to say I love the hour episodes :)
But I love any house building/renovation/buying/selling programs

I don't think the house will fit in with the other houses in the road. It is much taller and it far more contemporary in design.

I still think it will be a fine house though.

I like a dark cosy house.

I reckon Sarah Jane is one of Dermot's all time favourite clients, they seem to have a fantastic rapport.

Being from Mullingar and knowing the area I had to go and visit the place last week.

It fits superbly in the road (a number of disparate bugalows in a cul de sac created by Mullingar bypass).

I don't blame you, she's pretty and has a great personality to go with it. I doubt she'll be single for too long after this programme.

It's nice to see a client can get their way (get Dermot to stay within budget) without losing the head.
