Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Back in the 80s/90s and maybe into the 00s, most toilet rolls sold in small shops came in packs of two but nowadays packs of 4 seem to be the minimum everywhere. I haven't seen a pack of 2 in years.

I buy the packs of 18/24 myself. 3 bathrooms and saves money and no fear of running out

Dunno, I buy the biggest ones going, buy in bulk to save. Toothpaste half price? Buy 10. My wife bought about three years supply of dishwasher tablets, we only recently ran out.

Too risky, those of us with particularly hairy holes need more stock at hand than just 2 rolls.

After a certain point I accept defeat and head to the shower.

Skimping on toilet roll is a false economy. Sort your life out if you’re looking to buy a 2 pack of 2 ply. Go for a premium brand, minimum 3 ply, and with aloe vera or lavender scent if you’re into that sort of thing.

I am thinking of abandoning rolls altogether after reading a review on amazon for a Bidet! Here are some of the excerpts from it:

"I lowered my britches, sat down, pulled the handle and... YOWZA! It was like a sharp shooter took aim at my starfish with an icy blast of NOPE. I actually let out a yelp my husband heard from the kitchen and started laughing because he knew what I was doing."

"it was aimed with dead eye determination right at my bumhole. I shifted my weight a little to make the water wash in other places too (surrounding vicinity) and got up"

Has anyone ever taken a dump in the shower then stomped it down the drain with their foot?

(I haven’t, just curious if others have.)

I prefer a somewhat environmentally friendly dump though.

As me post above - got one of these, gamechanger.

You don’t “stomp” it down, S. It requires a bit more “finesse” than that.

You’ve got to “toe” it down the drain. Anything more than the toe will lead to breaking things up and sending parts all over the place. You’ll be cleaning up stubborn stuck parts, streaks and “staining” if you go down that route.

The "bum gun" (never knew it was called that) is the best. Combined with toilet paper, it's unbeatable and won't block pipes like babywipes.

I believe the technical term is "Waffle Stomp"
