Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What a random week to pick by Tesco... no upcoming major holiday or back to school period.

3rd week of July is often seen as the quietest week for the high street in Ireland

Certain wines are 6 bottles for €50 at the moment at Tesco so the tenner off makes it even a better deal.

According to the Bargain Alerts Facebook page there is €10 off €50 in Tomorrow's Sunday Independent.

What's this Facebook page you speak of?

And there'll be Tesco vouchers in the Sindo next Sunday and the Sunday after as well.

Always worth noting that the voucher is valid on the day of purchase so you can rip it out of the Sindo when you take it off the shelf and then include that Sindo in your €50 of shopping.

Apologies everyone, I think I actually picked that up wrong. It seems vouchers for the following two weeks will be posted directly to clubcard members and will be of various values specific to each member.

According to the text in the ad, you can use it for online and in store shopping. According to customer service, you can't.

Even if customer care said no I would give it to the delivery, when he gets back to the office they should give you the discount, that's the way it was done in the past when they used to allow competitors vouchers.

Seems there's going to be another €10 off when you spend €50 in Tuesdays Indo.

I know those codes are generic, so if I print that on A4 paper and cut it out, can you use that at a self service till and just pop it into the feeder?

Not sure, it's probably a 'false instrument' as defined in law but wouldn't be the same as trying it on with a bale of 50's you photocopied. However the law specifies inducing another person, says nothing about inducing a machine :D
26.—(1) A person who uses an instrument which is, and which he or she knows or believes to be, a false instrument, with the intention of inducing another person to accept it as genuine and, by reason of so accepting it, to do some act, or to make some omission, or to provide some service, to the prejudice of that person or any other person is guilty of an offence.

    (2) A person guilty of an offence under this section is liable on conviction on indictment to a fine or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 10 years or both.

You could in theory, but chasing a 10e of 50 copy coupon would propably cost more than its worth.. especially they still make money on this transaction.. and if someone make an extra shopping and stocks up Tesco are the winners..

There is a 2019 voucher a few posts up but copies are not accepted regardless so going to self service Is the only way if you’re that way inclined

I printed off one of those 10 off 50 coupons posted a couple of weeks ago and it was accepted in the manned checkout twice.

Kenco Millicano - the larger tin is €9.99 for one but there is an offer of 2 for €10 on Kenco & other brand coffee.

Scanned at the checkout and got 2 x larger tins for €10, 1c for the second tin is a bargain!!!
