Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

last minute - flying into Faro, Portugal on 7th August for a week. Very familiar with western Algarve (usually Vilamoura). Any recommendations or suggestions for eastern Algarve for two people.

Olhao is close to Faro on the eastern side. Quiet enough but has enough bars and restaurants to cater for most tourist needs.

Tavira further Eastern, again quiet but quite nice although i only did a day trip. Would recommend Olhao over the two

Would recommend Monte Gordo it's right on the border. Not as touristy & more Portuguese and Spanish people. The beach is absolutely incredible. Plenty of hotels apartments and bars restaurants. Really nice spot away from the union flag menu boards.
