Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Kayaking in Galway/Mayo

    Hi there,

My friend and I want to go kayaking next weekend, somewhere near Galway or Mayo, or even Clare. Not sure whether to go Westport/Newport or near Roundstone or Killary Adventure centre in Leanne.

Does anyone know a good place to go for views etc. or know of a reputable place?

    Appreciate any feedback, thanks,
    Sarah.

I second that. Can't go wrong with Ali.

Absolutely no shortage of places to go paddling but your experience, equipment and group size should determine what you should and shouldn't do. Without some info on those it's impossible unwise to make a recommendation. As any location is potentially dangerous. Remember, just a few weeks ago the CG rescue helicopter had to pluck a kayaker from Lough Conn.
