Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all. My sponcer is going to go through the aa book with me. And I really look forward to this. Can folk that have done so share there experience. And also will I be questioned on the book by sponcer. Or is it there position to run through the book and explain it?? If I was in an exam type situation anxiety would over power me..

    Good for you :)

I first went through the BB over a decade and a half ago. Changed my whole view of AA--forever--and remains the best thing I've ever done. And of course it isn't ever "done", lol----it's an ongoing experience that showed me how to recover from alcoholism, live and really experience an interesting life ( boredom was my biggest demon in sobriety) , and most importantly: I have not had a drink since.

I have taken many through the work since then, and it's always a powerful experience.

We are not really in the advice giving biz, but I can share a BB study that I ( and many others) have found great:

Just keep an open mind, seek after this the same way you used to go after drink, and you will recover too! Best wishes on your journey.
