Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A local business has kindly offered to buy/sponsor a set of jerseys. What do they need from our club in order to claim the tax back - VAT or income tax no? How does the claim back system work in this instance? Thanks.

Is the club issuing the sponsoring business an invoice? I'm almost certain that sports club sponsorship would be zero-rated, so they wouldn't be able to reclaim VAT (even if the club is VAT registered).

Can't set sports club sponsorship against tax. But you CAN set advertising costs against it. More than one business has used this knowledge to their advantage in the past, after paying for jerseys with their logo on it. That's all I'm saying.....
