Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cracked tile

    Can't really see much from that photo. If its loose you can remove it and loctite the tile together and relay making sure adhesive coverage is even. The loctite will allow you to lay it (carefully) as a hole. Did it myself and its perfect.

    Its cracked because there is no adhesive. very simple get a small wood chisel and very gently chip out the grout and lift out both pieces dont put glue, silicone or anything else there you will regret it get a small bag of adhesive if you have to buy a large one so be it and a little under dont mind if you put too much it will squeeze out and clean off with a damp cloth and the job is done right

    Contrary to the above advice.

    Don't chip away at anything. You'll damage the tile. If the tile is more or less loose then you need to cut the grout out with an angle grinder fitted with a masonry diamond disc. Cheap grinder and disc will set you back 50 quid. Cutting, not hitting

    Do glue whatever loose pieces you have together. If superglue is good for one thing and one thing only, it's gluing ceramic together. You've now got less bits to handle. Try inserting separate bits onto tile adhesive means the bits will move, the adhesive will get between the bits. The bits will be leaning this way and that way and adhesive between the bits means end of invisible joint.

    Think it through.

    What crap 1 he doesnt have a tile so he cuts the grout with a grinder then what you think the tile will lift up Oh the grinder has a round blade so doesnt go all the way to the skirting didnt think about that
    Its a small bit broken that is not stuck down I have replaced thousands over the years
    Think is right
