Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, we've got a quote from [a company] for a 3kv 10 panel system with a 4.5kv battery plus immersion divertor for €8.5k when grant is deducted. Their hardware looks good but I believe they have only been installing [for a short time. Any advice / comments welcome]

Mod note: As per forum charter no company names please.

Something wrong with the units for the batteries. Also I would consider if the batteries are necessary? Why not divert excess power to immersion heaters rather than storing this energy in batteries?
This would save money and space.

Unless you want an “off grid” option.
