Best cordless vaccum

Hi all,

I am in the market for a cordless stick vacuum.

Now Dyson is the obvious choice but I'd like to know if I can do better, as they're so expensive.

Has anyone any experience with either Hoover or Bosch? Hoover seems well priced but I'm finding it hard to commit because I don't know anyone who has one to tell me if they're as good as the Dyson.

I want value for money but obviously I don't want a buy cheap/buy twice scenario!

Key fact, we have a cat so one that has an animal hair function is critical!

Used to be a big Dyson fan but the last few have been average at best which isnt great given the premium price tag.

Am researching now as we need another and am leaning towards the Shark.

Bosch cordless vacs are a good choice reliable and much better value than Dyson

Wife loves her new Hoover.
Old one way overcharged the battery, so didnt last more than a year.

New one has rotating filter, seems to keep it really clear.

Dyson are overpriced junk trading on a name. Batteries tend to fail after 2 years normal use. 80 euro for new one.
Bosch, hoover or shark far better.

I am also thinking Shark. Am so post Dyson now and never will do it again.

Haven't bought the Shark yet, but looking at UK forums it seems to be high on the list so....

They are expensive though aren't they? But I suppose if it works for you it works for you.

I have this one. Far better then any dyson I’ve had.

Our Dyson 7 seems to be on the way to the Vacuum Heaven

In the market for a cordless one similar vain

From working with it the battery on the Dyson not the best and looking at the Dyson outlet store prices are still expensive

So where is the best place to look at other options ie Shark or better waiting for Prime day ?

You could wait until Prime Day but i'm not sure Shark will come down further then the current discounts

Yeah new experience shopping for vacuum but hey its a new world

Checked the Dyson outlet and some good prices and Shark seem to be in and around the same for cordless vacuums

Yeah Prime day around the corner but dont think they ior Dyson will come down although knowing my luck

Still in research and review mode looking online

Any other suggestions welcom

If you're shelling out big money on a cordless vacuum, I'd be tempted to go with Miele Triflex, rather than Dyson.
