Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just a simple question, no thread seemed to cater to basic questions so said I'd make one :o

Basically, if your opponent fouls and leaves you a free ball...can you just roll up behind the free ball (and touch it), leaving your opponent snookered? Or do you gave to explicitly play a safety shot/pot from a free ball?

You may hit the nominated free ball and snooker him behind an other ball, but not the nominated one, otherwise it's a foul.

This video pretty much explains it.

Brilliant, thanks a mill. Love Barry's vids, have learned quite a bit from them. The amount of things you've to get right before you even play the shot never ceases to amaze me.
