    Folks

Excuse the mixed use of units...!

Ive 2 boards that are 2m long and a max width of 20inch.
Theyre 3 inch thick and id like to bring them to 2inch

Anyone know of somewhere/someone that can offer this service?

Based in dublin but dont mind travelling anywhere with them. Something tells me the north might be an option..?

Most workshops use thicknessers with a 12" table so you may have to find an industrial joinery works with a wide stand alone thicknesser. You could cut the boards lengthwise into two 10" boards and reduce them on a DIY planer and then re-glue them - the join would be nearly invisible.

i like to think that you ripped that entire board using the saw you can see at the bottom.

    Nice bit of wood there!
DBOR Joinery in Baldoyle Industrial Estate.
They have (or at least, used to have) a 24" thicknesser.
They also have a resaw; they'd probably resaw it first as you have quite a lot to come off the thickness.
