Naomi Deluxe 39 inch Cab

    I have an opportunity get one of these ... They look cool but was looking for any general feedback on that cab that anyone has to offer... I have some other more traditional cabs but this one looks cool...

    I would probably convert it or have it converted at least to run Mame and native...

    Anyone got experience with this model, I have never played in one ..

    Do you mean the Naomi DX sit down monster? They're feckin huge :D

    Not a rear projection, just a giant CRT. I think there is a projection based one, but it's probably 50 inches in size.

    Wouldn't really be my thing (I'm not a fan of the silver/orange and don't particularly like cabs with sit down benches incorporated into them) but if you like the style then go for it. It'd certain be a conversation piece!

    I doubt many folks here would have experience with them as they'd be a rarity over here.

    Tx, It comes in 3 parts so you don't need to keep the Bench. You are right it's got a 39 CRT in it.

    looks quality..And SFV playing in it would be the business.
    I presume they are 31HZ only monitor?
    I think there was one in that Casino arcade in london..It was rear projection though and the colours were fecked on it.
    How much are you picking it up for?

    Really Cool, Love this. Kinda like Naomi and Super Megalo Hooked up and this is their kid :)
    Still gutta seller in dublin did me out of my Super Megalo base, wa going to add LCD to it, paid him and all!!!

    Strange as some lad selling load of cabs he was clearing old arcade out in galway and bringing them to dublin. And lad was dead sound.

    Bought one cab off him no problem (Sega Last bronx),
    Then Sega Rally Twin and Megalo off him,
    But he only sent down my Sega Rally do some warehouse issue
    and then he disappeared, deleted adverts account didnt answer phone or texts? Disappointing but least got other 2 cabs i suppose.

    Those Megalos be great with LCD and Xbox Hacked in, 2 player SSFIV.
    Loads room in them and easy to hack it, even if they are huge :)
    Some lovely hacks on youtube.
