Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Awful tragedy in Tyrone that surely has left us with the most stupidest word ever in the English language.Only the psni could come up with it.

You can’t unarrest someone, once you’re arrested unless you can time travel then you can’t undo it. They can be released from custody following arrest but not de-arrested or unarrested.

The PSNI fûcked up and wrongfully arrested him and rather than say that publicly they made up a word to try and save face...but failed...dramatically.

White powder found in his laundry room..... Obviously the first thought going through any sane peeler's mind would be drugs, as opposed to FECKIN WASHING POWDER.

Deflection from what I am hearing.

It's a standard police term, far from concocted by the PSNI nor unique to them, meaning to release someone who had been arrested, before they are even taken to the police station and processed, because it's become clear they are innocent. It is different to from 'released without charge' because no record of the arrest is kept.

There is an earlier example involving George Michael.

If I was going to create a thread giving out about someone using the wrong word I'd....
    A. Make sure the word is actually wrong.
    B. Use either 'most stupid', or 'stupidest' as 'most stupidest' is.....well......

This is a fairly straight forward case.

Things get complicated if they're releasing someone who they now realise is innocent. And just as they release them information comes to light showing they are in fact guilty. You now have the De-de-arrest procedure.

And what about if you find they are innocent again?
