Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not meat loaf and not carnivore. They were an English band from the mid 80’s. Not obscure and very well known, If you lived through that time you would certainly remember them.

    Iron Maiden - nope
I love a piece of meat in my mouth - afraid not

Fine Young Cannibals -.....Correct and very well done, you are up my friend

OK! Considering my last one was so easy (LOL) here's something a bit trickier:

Genuine questions as I'm a bit confused. How does Fine Young Cannibals match with the clue?

No, but a very good guess!

No, but a very good guess!

Regardless of the actual answer, I think you'll find I am correct. It fits perfectly.

    A lannister = Alanis
Girl wearing Scotish garb, could be interpreted as Morris gear = morrisette

I'm going to plow ahead with the next one :pac:

Well strictly speaking Morris dancers are English, not Scottish.

You're sort of on the right lines though.

And if no one gets it you should go next! :)

I presumed it wasn’t human meat :). I was thinking of the Fine Young Cannibals but then said “no of course it’s not” :)

OK. Early 70s. Not really known now. But at one stage they had two absolute bona fide global superstars playing with them.

After a bit of investigation, I can only come up with two possibilities.

    The dirty Mac
    Or
    Delaney & Bonnie & friends.

I can explain half of each, but not all

You have to pick one! And yes give your explanation.

Ok, I'll go for Delaney (the Lanni(ster))
    & Bonnie (lass)

You're right! But the Delaney is actually a little more straightforward - that's Irish actor Conor Delaney. :)

For anyone who doesn't know Delaney and Bonnie, check out this clip. You'll spot both Eric Clapton, and George Harrison, in the backing band!

    Go me :)

I was a bit confused as I thought it wasn't a picture of Jamie, the armour was wrong, but i thought it was Game of Thrones. I did check the actors name (Jamies) in case it was Delancey, so I'll take it as a valid gues.

    And now......

I could have been there for three years and would never have got that one from the picture clues. Didn't know the actor and never heard the phrase Bonny before. Maybe if it was a more famous Delaney I might of had a better chance.
