Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

    I defiantly do.
I like a walk on a bright night. Around a city or middle of nowhere. Good starting point for a night.
I like thin porcelain cups because you get really hot tea that way. Favourite one is from Appleby fair, roses & gilt edging.
    I'm reserved but not shy.

Ever been to a vintage fair/rally?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,283 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

Jungle , at least you wouldn't be cooped up in a house all day .

Sweet or savoury , if you had to pick one to do without for the rest of your life which would you choose ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,283 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

Savoury always. I'd walk past a chocolate fountain for canapés.

Would you and your family be cut out for Ireland's Fittest Family?

The kids maybe . My wife is very overweight and quite sedentary. ( no exercise) and I have MS which limits my gym workouts
Do you know what you're getting for Christmas and are you happy with it?

No but I never care tbh. I'm happy with family, company and a bit of craic at Christmas tbh.

    Do you like New Years?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I know, and I love it.
I don't like NYE at all. People get maudlin and it feels artificial.I relate better to the pagan year anyway!

    Any good at maths?
Will you grow anything this coming year?

All my family are wizards at Maths. Plan to add to my garden this year (under direction - I’ve no green fingers!)

Can you recommend any bomb (honeybear) proof indoor plants for my sunroom?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,223 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

    A cactus, perhaps

If you could, what type of exotic animal would you like as a pet?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I'm not into keeping pets but if a fox took a shine to my garden I wouldn't mind.

Monstera, Swiss Cheese plant, Honeybear. Big green leafy and easy. You can get variegated green and white ones.

    Ever drank Turkish coffee?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,223 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

    No I haven't

    Is it nice?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,104 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

No, I'm holding off till December.

Do you heat up your mince pies?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,104 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

Ideally I would have them hot with a small dash of icecream on top.

Is this black friday thing a big swizz?

Dont know what swizz means, to me if I don't need it I don't buy it, but if I need something and I think I can get it cheaper on a certain day then I'd buy.

    What does swizz mean?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,104 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

A swizz is a scam. There is no real sale, they are just fooling people in to spending money on things they think are bargains.

Would anyone be describing you as a 'little ray of sunshine' today?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,223 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

    Probably not

Do you anyone serving in the army?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

    How was your day?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

Are you doing anything nice later

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

Nice answer! Completely chilling tonight (it has been go go go all week for me)

Do you have the fire lighting?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,104 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

There is an open fire where I am.

Do you know anyone who has spent time in jail?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

The fire is lit as it's solid fuel heating here

Yes, my friend did, for armed robbery about 20 years ago.

    Do you?

If you were a conman or conwoman would you be better at a short con or the 'long game'?

I couldn't be a conman..I'd feel too bad for the people I was conning..

Would you cause a scene in a shop if they couldn't take one of those one4all vouchers, if they were supposed to?..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

Causing a scene over anything like that is not my style

If you had to paint a picture for charity what would your subject matter be?
