Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Autumn leaves always makes me sad..but I'm always sad anyway, and I'm not too well versed in jazz, so I'll pick that...

    Do you play an instrument?

    Do you play an instrument?

    Flute.

Do you get your nails done professionally?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,104 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

No, but I am a fella so not big in to getting the nails done. I did get them done once - the day before my wedding. Looked nice enough but not worth it.

Would you be able to spot if someone is wearing very expensive clothes or jewellery…or, like me, struggle to tell Dunhill from something you would get in H&M?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

Sometimes, but women's designer clothing is often if similar quality to high street clothing now. It's not as if they're always handmade or even made of high quality fabrics these days. A bit like electrical appliances, the 'top' brands outsource manufacturing, there's cost cutting and you could be paying for the name. Vintage designer clothing is remarkably better made.

Do you own or would you wear any furs?

    No and no.

Have you ever been on a protest march?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,104 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

Yes. I have been to a G8 protest in central america, have been hit by a water cannon, attacked by a french police dog, have been hit by a chineese soldier in bejing...etc etc...I was an angry youth!

    Ever been knocked unconscious?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

    Yes during netball.
Yes I was on a protest.
    Have you ever fainted

Do you think citizens abroad should have a vote?

Absolutely not. They don’t live here so they should not have a say on how we are governed.

Do you think the Healey-Rays have ever made a valid point about anything?

    I do.

I see it's already been asked, so second question.

Would you tell a farmer protester to get the fcuk out of your way?

I'm not up to date with this protest but I'd tell any protestor to gtfo if necessary.
If you use Facebook have you met anyone you know through Facebook? Or have you only accepted/added pre-existing friends?

I have a few dweebs that are friends of friends, I have gotten to know a few people better since we became facebook friends too that I wouldn't have known so well before, but I haven't befriended any strangers through Facebook.

I'm afraid I don't know anyone called Willy.

People call me the full version of the first name on my birth certificate (although people probably call me other names when I'm not around)

What was your favourite film ever?

I absolutely love porridge, about to have some now

Do you get queasy if you don't eat by a certain time after you get up?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,097 ✭✭✭johndaman66

Not so much queasy as cranky and not very well able to focus but it would be well into the afternoon before that would happen - maybe around 2/3 PM. I would need a mug of tea or coffee before I leave the house in the morning but that's probably force of habit more than anything.

Is having children really worth the hassle/ expense?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

Yes but only if youre family oriented. Like marriage. Not for the sake of doing it.

The purple one or the red one?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,223 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

Will you watch to Late Late Toy Show this weekend?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,223 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

To be honest I found him smarmy and patronising and didn't like his attitude to that bishops girlfriend in an interview. I'm not sure we'd have gotten along. I can see he was an institution in his own right though.

    We're you?

Our cleaners seem to only have a passive working relationship with the loos.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,223 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

Nope - I'd be absolutely useless at it tbh.
