Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey,

Was just on my way home with a friend half an hour ago. We took a little short cut that's like 5 yards of bushes and a sort of woodland off the main road in killester.
Suddenly, we heard rattling and a man runs of the bushes, darts across the road and is sweating and very pale.
We watched him for a while and he clearly was sketchy as he kept going back on his steps in an effort to get away from us.

Should this be reported to the guards?

In the time you've spent opening two threads on this, you could have reported it and the Gardai could be looking for him.

Yes, you should have reported it as soon as possible.

No, I'm fine, I was just a little disorientated.

Did he approach you at all or make any threatening gestures? By the sounds of your post it seems he was doing his best to go in the opposite direction to you as fast as possible. If that's the case I'm not sure what the Gardai can do, there's no law (at least not yet) against acting a bit weird.

I just called the local station who said they'd send the car up to have a look.

Not much they can do but worth having a look.

    Thanks for the replies
