Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Watching this on bein sports - Middle East, is it just me or are the crowd very quiet? Commentators wouldn’t be great

On ITV I think they mentioned some issue with on field microphones.

But then again, hardly going to be a huge number of Namibian and Italian fans in Japan, and even if loads of Italians plan to go over you wouldn't blame them for skipping this weekend

The bloke commentating on ITV is brutal. Meaningless twaddle.

Makes sense, struggling to hear the ref too.

Parisse looks past it, is this a first string Italian team?

Is it worth getting out of bed for (dodgy box set up downstairs), or wait for highlight later?

Anyone know is it possible to get ITV on virign media?

I wonder how the atmosphere for the Ireland match will come across. The pitch has a running track around it. I hate those sort of stadiums.

Traveling Irish fans are the loudest around, I'd say they'll be heard.

Italy have been throwing the ball around nicely this half. Should have two more tries. S.A. had N.Z. penned in for twenty mins yesterday until the A.B.s started throwing the ball around!

Tell me there is hope of an Italy upset v S.A.! Or, just humour me, pls.

Italian try just before half time was class, a no-look pass to the player coming onto the ball at speed.
    Italy lead 21-7.

    It's on Eir Sport 2.
Which Eir have just made unavailable to sky customers just before the tournament with their virgin deal.

And the only reason to move this match to eir sport 2 is to piss off sky customers, not like they are showing something else live on Eir 1 :/

Ah ok, I’m virgin but only seem to have eir 1.

Handy to have it in the phone so no need to get out of bed.

My IPTV is down at the moment so using VPN + ITV hub.

His co-commentator is good, it's such a relief when he shuts up and she talks.

We are with Sky and Eir. Can't find Game on tv.
We had an Email from Eir a while ago saying Eir Sport 2 would be called Virgin Sports and that we would still have that which we do but no Rugby on !

Great...So we now know that Parisse was the voice on Wreck it Ralph, the Disney movie when it was dubbed into Italian.
That commentator should be shot with a ball of his own sh*te.

You could have a red card, SA is due one the way they play. You could have the team overconfident as well seeing as the talk seems to be that SA should play the All Blacks again this tournament, they have already won all their pool games and the QF and SF. Then you could have a injury or two as well in the meantime. Then the game plan is not that complicated or good, even if Erasmus is some sort of genius apparently.

That is the best I can do.

I had only noticed a couple of days before my annual renewal that the eir sport package lost all its football content yet the yearly fee went up to a massive 300 quid, all they advertised about was the rugby World Cup. They are some chancers. Thankfully I cancelled in time.

Great result for Ireland and a MOTM for Stander.

Japan v Scotland will be an interesting game. Scotland clearly favourites for it but they'll be very down on confidence.

Japan will have a huge advantage, the last game of the pool being the game that'll decide if they qualify for the knockout stages for home world cup will be a massive boost for them.

Samoa won't be a pushover for either team though, and they're big lads who like to put in big hits so it'll be a physical game which is always a concern for injuries.

Tonga much less coordinated in the haka than the All Blacks, need to bring in a choreography coach.

English translation of the Sipi Tau:

    Get ready to the battle!
    Tonga!
I shall speak to the whole world
The Sea Eagles are famished unfurl.
Let the foreigner and sojourner beware
Today, destroyer of souls, I am everywhere
    To the halfback and backs
    Gone has my humanness.
    Hey! hey!
    Ay!
    Aye!
    Aye!
Maul and loose forwards shall I mow
And crunch any fierce hearts you know
    Crunch!
    Yeah!
    Crunch!
    Yeah!
That's how Tonga dies to her motto
God and Tonga are my inheritance.
    Aye, ay!
    Tonga!

Beats "Irelands Call" any day :pac:

England very lucky to get that try I think, just because ball is on the ground 5 seconds later doesn't mean it's was grounded.
