Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anyone know of a half marathon in February or March?

The connemarathon half falls too late this year to fit into my plan.

I don't think there are any half marathons, but there is the Munster 10 mile classics series.

Dungarvan is in February, Ballycotton in March.

When I saw the thread title, I thought, wow, this is something new.
I suppose nothing is too unusual coming from a triathlete. :)

I did the Larne half marathon this year which was the last weekend in March. Couldn't recommend it highly enough - £13 entry fee. Huge leisure centre for registration, football pitches right beside where you start to warm up, an incredibly scenic route, about 700 took part, a ridiculous amount of sandwiches (pre packed and a huge choice), tea, coffee and busciuts and cake afterwards. I don't think there's a race in Ireland that I've taken part in that I'd rate as highly as this. It was also nuts how friendly everyone was afterwards... maybe a tough race brings that out in people!

Your plan to run a half marathon dressed in a mankini or similar? Just trying to decipher your motives from the thread title
