Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm amazed a moderator didn't make "baddest villian" in this thread.

    5. Roy -- Blade runner (The stalking sequence in the old house is cool)

    4. John Doe -- Se7en (Lust, man. Lust was f***ed up.)

    3. Hannibal Lecter (he practically guts you, than sends you a colostomy bag when you're in hospital. Or he just chows down on your liver.)

    2. Darth vader (vader is evil. oh yes. yes indeed.)

    1. Kayser soze -- The Usual suspects (for showing those men of will what will can be. Also the whole untouchable uber-killer thing.)

    No, no, no.

All the replicants were good! They were merely trying to survive in a world where they were treated cruelly and like slaves.

If anything, Deckard and the Bladerunners were the evil ones by hunting them down and killing them. Deckard even shoots a female one in the back!

And if Deckard is a replicant then that makes the humans even worse.

Too many bad guys stop to gloat or show compassion..

James Bond "do you expect me to talk ?"
Auric Goldfinger "no Mr Bond, I expect you to die" - Class

Terminator (but only the first film)
"you can't reason with it" , "it won't stop"

    =======================

Hanibal was better in Manhunter ... (ok I liked the music)
    - can't remember the actor's name

    Mr Walken is good

    the classics ...
    Cristopher Lee / Peter Cushing
Boris Karloff / Lee Chaney Junior

    the original silent nesferatu

    ===Fun villans====
Alan Rickman - I'd love to see the bits Kevin Costener cut out...
    Rick M?? - True lies

    Special mention:
The guy who shot Bambi :)

He was real mean guy. Nearly ruined a slappers life. Scary. I would not like to meet him on the bonnet of a car.
    Good oul Georgeee.

No one's mentioned this one ... I guess because he's not such an obvious villain, but god I wanted to strangle him right through the telly:

    - Tim Roth in Rob Roy.

An moving over to the horror side of things:

-Damien (the son of the devil) and Ms. Baylock in The Omen.

I saw it when I was about 5 or 6 ... Had nightmares for a good 8 months. Slept in mum & dad's bed every night :p So yeah, I guess Pennywise is one of the top 5 baddest villains in my book, heheh.

    1. James Earl Jones as thulsa doom in Conan
    2. The Emperor
    3. Christopher Lee
    4. Stansfield in Leon, as everyone says.
    5. The Hicks in Deliverence

But as with all of these threads, too much choice. So many people have mentioned characters, that I didnt really think were villains.
Joe Pesci , Rutger Hauer etc.

But I guess its a bit of a grey area, id definately add 'Tadanobu Asano' from Ichi Killer and/or the evil Swords dude in Azumi, and a whole load more, just that they don't really fall into a strict 'Villain' catagory. O_o

I think he means Grand Moff Tarkin, the boss on the Death Star in A New Hope.

1: The ship from Event Horizon. Still one of the few movies that freaks me the F**K out.
    2: The Alien/s
3: David Boreanaz as Angelus. Simply because he carries it off so cool you find yourself hoping he wins.
4: Any vilian played by John Travolta. Lets face it, he plays baddies better then heroes.
5: Jack Nicholson, even when he's not acting.
