Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey,

My cutlery is gone very dull from the dishwasher, I hand washed it today with fairy and a scourer, but I didnt get the results I thought I would get.

Can anyone recommend anything for me please?

    1. Bleach
    2. Elbow grease
    3. New cutlery

Unless its silver, I'd try bleach for brightening it up and removing dishwasher tarnish.

Are you using rinse aid? If its stainless steel cutlery, it shouldn't become dull in the dishwasher..

I encountered this complaint many times. basically to be honest your problem is cheap cutlery or cutlery that is not dishwasher safe

The cutlery had been fine up to about a month ago, I have this cutlery a couple of years now. I think it might be the tablets I am using, I changed brand.

I checked the rinse aid, It was low as well. We moved house in the last year. and the water is very limey. Could that have something to do with it as well?

Have you tried washing them in the sink with bicarbonate of soda? It may or may not help, can't hurt to try I imagine.
