Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The feckers have a teaser picture on their website which is one of the 2D Barcodes like you get for German (and maybe other) internet rail tickets.
So is this coming to Ireland too??

    From irishrail.ie:
    qrcodeweb.gif

For the customer this would be a great development as you can print your ticket yourself and not worry if theres a ticket collection machine or counter open to collect your ticket from. You will have the ticket in your hands before even setting out for the station.

All that is missing is the scanner to validate the tickets by the conductor.
In germany they use this lump of a thing that can also be used to issue tickets and accept credit card payment (I'd embed the image but its too bloody big!).

Has anyone any info on whats coming, or not?

The 2d bar code contains a URL. There is a 20% discount if you work out the URL today.
