    I think Valverde should have a 32 point lead ( assuming he got 6 for the 10th place). Only 4 points for the intermediate sprint and 25 for win tomorrow so no chance for Sagan

    Movistar really made a balls of their team tactics. Valverde spent most of the race as domestique for Quintana and probably burned himself out long before yesterday. Quintana just doesn't seem to have the magic left in his legs anymore. Kind of hard to feel sorry for either of them though, they're horrendous wheel suckers.

    Delighted for Mas and Lopez, two fine young riders willing to give it a go and huge credit to Yates, a very deserving winner. He showed massive spirit to come back after the heartbreak of the Giro. He rode aggressively, didn't need a train of robots delivering stages to him on a plate and he seems like a decent fella.

    Yep, 29 available and a gap of 32.
    Green: the points jersey but not necessarily the property of the sprinters. Points are awarded at the finish line and at intermediate points in the stage and the rider with the most points wears the jersey.

    Finish line: 25-20-16-14-12-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 points for the first 15 riders
    Intermediate sprints: 4-2-1 points for the first three riders
