Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Don't think there is a thread for the stage today.

There are no classified climbs!

The race is entering Catalonia and Lleida was a stage finish back in 2015, with Danny van Poppel taking the victory.

28 km left and the breakaway have 2'20" lead.

Jelle Wallays (Lotto Soudal), Sven Eryk Bytrom (UAE Team Emirates) and Jetse Bol (Burgos-BH)

What a finish , fair play to them for not dicking around to much and Sagan charging hard after them.

Great to see them staying ahead! I never heard of Jelle Wallays before.

He won the 2014 Paris-Tours in a similar (though not as nailbiting) fashion -very early break, small group stayed away all day and arrived at the finish with about 10 seconds in hand and Tommy Voeckler behind him

Doesn't get any closer than that for a very slight miscalculation of the chase!

Great finish. I hadn't realised today's stage finished in my hometown (!) until I checked on here earlier, just in time to catch the last few minutes online and see them fly right past my dad's flat with about 1.5 km to go. How exciting! :D
