Does anybody know of any companies here doing cycling insurance? Specifically I'm going to Mallorca in April and want to be covered whilst out there (both me and the bike). From searching online I can't seem to find any companies providing insurance other than www.bicycleinsurance.ie but they only cover bikes up to 3 years old.
Or what do other people do when they travel abroad?
    Thanks

Would you not be better getting travel insurance that covers certain sporting activities (such as biking)? Your current travel insurer might offer it as an add-on to your policy.

Presumably most triathletes have decent insurance to cover both them and their bikes when they compete abroad. Maybe try posting in the triathlon forum?

Didn't look for travel purposes, but I looked into this a few weeks ago, and put the bikes on the house insurance. Worked out cheaper for multiple bikes (even in the event of a claim and loss of no claims discount on the house insurance), with less onerous conditions, than bicycleinsurance. If that was an option, I'd look into that cover for the bikes, and then travel insurance for you.

I've used Blue Insurance in the past for cycling holidays. As I remember, they cover all risks, except racing.
