Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hollywood heavyweight Matt Damon reportedly in talks to join the cast in a sequel to 2011 pandemic movie 'Contagion'.............

"Contagion 2 - Fierce Unfortunate" will see Damon once again assume the role of Mitch Emhoff, American everyman and devoted Dad, who this time finds himself on vacation in the Emerald Isle when the Coronavirus pandemic strikes

Director Steven Soderbergh has said pandemics are highly topical and he liked the idea of exploring the fallout from the point of view of a stranded traveler in a strange land, trying to make sense of it all.

"Matt has shown his comedy chops before and was interested in a light hearted sequel to the original film. Think Cormac McCarthy's The Road, but with lots of Guinness and a buttload of craic" he said.........

Shooting is set to begin in Oireland next year

You saved Dalkey during the contagion
    You swam with the crustaceans
    You lived in rented accommodation

It's the most ridiculously boring story ever, I wouldn't mind if he was a great actor or had some interesting characteristics but Matt Damon.

Is the thread sponsored by SuperValue?

    Hp4y49x.png

Better value, beats them all everytime, live a LIDL, or something like that.

Heard the Matty plastic bag is going to be raffled the same time as the bogger lad's necklace as wore in the normal people porno show.

I can't stand how the Independent really seems to think that we live our life through celebs.

Matt Damon, "unlikely pandemic hero, has spent the last three months carrying the weight of morale for the nation.".

All he carried was a Supervalu bag like the rest of his on his way to and back from his luxury pad, spoke to locals politely and gave a radio interview.

The Indo thinks we care? Or think that Katie French's death was "Our princess Diana moment".

Or that Irish peope care about the british Royal family.

Can't stand the paper now and it's unreal that want people to subscribe to that low brow artictle. First free paragraph was enough.

I can better than that. Not only did I not know he was here, I don't know who he is, and I don't know anything about his best friend Ben Affleck either. Or Good Will Hunting. Or any other of his so called "movies".

How do you like them apples?

Is the rest of the article stuck behind a paywall? If not I want to be a journalist. A living wage for writing 10 lines and embedding a video?

The article would have a bigger impact if it was in fact just MATT DAMON.

Radio stations and junior reporters try to make stories out of person in Ireland for work.
Film actor or strawberry company, all the same to them.
