family holiday with "an Gaeilge" aspect..

    Does anyone know a place where one could have a family holiday with an element of Irish Language practice/learning? Something like the family having some Irish learning in the mornings and being free for the rest of the day. Oideas Gael in Glencolumbkille comes to mind, but they seem to allow adults only.

    I was there this summer, great for the adults alright. Definitely no kids when I was there. I was in Galway the year before, in Carraroe. Classes for adults but there was also younger people in other classes. Not sure what age group.You might find something here...

    Id love to bring my two lads down to the Gaeltacht for a few weeks in the summer. To do the Des Bishop thing and stay with a family to immerse myself in the language.
    If anyone knows of how to go about this Id appreciate any helpful information.

    Just tell jokes which aren't funny and always rely on a "bogger" accent for the punch line. Walk around with an air of superiority and put on an annoying New York accent. Thats how to do the Des Bishop thing.
