Looks like the US Networks and CNN aren't showing it they are all staying Biden arriving in DC.

I'd laugh if a massive gang of Trump's supporters showed up to Mar o Lago to give him a welcome home, just to watch Trump's thinly-veiled disgust of them.

    Great Speech!

    It's terrible!

He obviously didn't write it, he is just reading off the teleprompter and has been told not to go off script.

Just a 20 minute waffle from a beaten man who still refuses to acknowledge he has lost.

Theres obviously a huuge market for what he offered, someone competant, not openly corrupt on a similar platform, will do v.well in future imo

So Trump disavowed all responsibility for Covid, but as and from tomorrow the buck stops with Biden?

Does that mean the count resets to zero at 12 tmrw?
Surely Joe is criticism free for the Death toll until he surpasses 400k?

One thing can be guaranteed though, as and from tomorrow the death toll and the national debt are suddenly going to be GOP concerns again ;)

Probably around 100,000. Do you know why it will be that high? Do you think the pandemic will stop at 5pm GMT tomorrow when Biden gets sworn in?

Direct quote from his farewell address:
I took on the tough battles, the hardest fights, the most difficult choices ,because that’s what you elected me to do

He never engaged a battle that didn't benefit himself personally. His record on tackling covid is nothing short of shameful.

Hopefully the US authorities go after him with full force and I reckon they will.

At the start of this pandemic you had Trump looking to ban travel from China, was called a xenophope by the Democrats. Nancy done her little trip to China town and invited everyone to go there.

You know china town is not Wuhan? They dont share infection rates...

Once the virus is in your country and you have community spread, that is where you need to focus your attention. I am more likely to catch covid from friends and family than I am from someone from Wuhan or Italy.

He encouraged people to ignore health measures in their community, which causes far more harm, than allowing international travel, during times of record low travel.

The times to focus on shutting down international travel, is when you have lower infection rates that other countries, such as how it is so important for New Zealand, where they have it under control in the community, so their biggest risk is the borders.

If he banned travel from china, and put a bit of effort in at home, you may have a point. But once it was in the country, a ban was a waste of time without measures in the US.

Exotic certainly seems to be expecting a pardon, given this story being reported of Exotic's legal team having booked a limo to collect him from the prison.

If Exotic is not pardoned, it'll be the greatest disappointment in his life since that time he found out both his husbands were actually straight the whole time.

WHO declare a public health emergency on the 30th of January, Trump says he wants a travel ban the 31st of January. There was 6 cases in the US then.

I read or heard a great analogy. Not word for word what I read or heard, but this is basicly Trump and covid and his china ban.

Imagine the USA is a building in a rainstorm. People coming from china is a few holes in the corner. The rain starts coming in, slowly filling the room with water. The leader tells everyone not to worry. Its only a few holes, we wont get our feet wet. The holes continue to allow water in, and the people are starting to get concerned. They keep asking the leader, and he keeps telling them that it will be fine.

As new holes start appearing every day (new communtiy spread infections), the number of holes has now tripled. The water is coming in alot quicker now. The people are still concerned. The leader still says its ok, but to keep them happy he blocks up the original few holes and tells everyone that he has sorted out the problem, dont worry about it.

As new holes appear by the day, and the water level rising, it is clear there is a problem but the leader keeps pointing to the few original holes that he blocked and encourages everyone to contine as normal, even if that means poking new holes in the roof.

Day by day as people start drowning, he cant understand why they are not praising him for blocking the original holes. Then he starts criticising the Health experts who have been begging to start pumping water out, while he keeps telling people to ignore them and continue with the hole poking.

Even if he steps away from politics altogether, Trumpism is going nowhere and will merely be taken up by someone else - quite possibly one of his sprogs.

The Republicans will try return to their Romney style 'respectability' guff but given the way the US political system is built, that won't matter come election time as all it will take is one person to run on Trumpism and that massive Trumpian base will be right behind him/her.

I think it'll take some DNC on Bernie style f*ckery to deny a Trumpian candidate come primary time.

What was he saying on the 25th of February
    https://www.irishtimes.com/news/world/us/timeline-of-trump-s-coronavirus-responses-1.4370379

    Feb. 24: 51 confirmed cases in U.S.
"The Coronavirus is very much under control in the USA"

"The Coronavirus is very much under control in the USA. We are in contact with everyone and all relevant countries. CDC & World Health have been working hard and very smart. Stock Market starting to look very good to me!" the president tweeted.
    Feb. 25: 57 confirmed cases in U.S.
Coronavirus is "very well under control in our country"

"You may ask about the coronavirus, which is very well under control in our country. We have very few people with it, and the people that have it are - in all cases, I have not heard anything other," the president said during a press conference on his trip to India.
    Feb. 26: 58 confirmed cases in U.S.
The 15 cases in U.S. "within a couple days is going to be down close to zero"

"I want you to understand something that shocked me when I saw it that — and I spoke with Dr. Fauci on this, and I was really amazed, and I think most people are amazed to hear it: The flu, in our country, kills from 25,000 people to 69,000 people a year. That was shocking to me. And, so far, if you look at what we have with the 15 people and their recovery, one is — one is pretty sick but hopefully will recover, but the others are in great shape. But think of that: 25,000 to 69,000. ... "And again, when you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that's a pretty good job we've done," the president said during a Coronavirus Task Force Press briefing at the White House.

Lets see how many covid deaths Biden has on his hands in the next month.

I'm with you on your logic. So during Trump's term, covid deaths just increased, but now under Biden, they will decrease this year.
With more vaccinations, the economy will reopen and we will see massive growth in employment compared to the millions thrown out of work in Trumps last year.

But as you said yourself, the buck stops here - 2020 with Trump, 2021 with Biden.
Unfortunate for Trump that his hydroxychloroquine and injecting bleach cures were no match for Biden's vaccine.

They aren't facing federal charges so Trump can't pardon them.

It is not trumps vaccine nor is it bidens. It is Pfizer's, Moderna's, and Oxford University and AstraZeneca's. They are the ones who put in the real effort and were successful.

Trump said it would be gone by Easter.

Trump made Republican states open up when science said do not.

Trump mismanaged the pandemic to a point where 400k are dead.

Trump developed it all by himself?

Trump has been throwing the ‘we’re going to have a vaccine very soon’ line since April, when in reality he hadn’t a ****ing clue.

No other political leader is taking credit for developing a a vaccine (not even Boris ffs) but what they can take credit for is its rollout. Trump Admin officials said there would be 20 million vaccinated by the end of the December... they havent even reached that number now.

Funny how you want to say Trump deserves credit for the vaccine but he doesn’t seem to deserve criticism for the rollout.

He’s been ready since April for a vaccine. Is this the best he has? Pathetic.

Can you tell us what exactly Trump did to bring about the vaccine given that Pfizer developed it outside of the program which Trump set up to develop a virus.

Be as specific as you want, we can take it.
