Which LC subjects don't have projects / coursework?

    Hi,
    Please excuse my lack of knowledge here, I'm originally from England and so not that familiar with the LC.
    It's looking increasingly like I'll be homeschooling my kids, two at secondary level, for medical reasons from September. However, I know a lot of LC subjects have projects / coursework which cannot be done remotely.
    Could anyone tell me which LC subjects definitely don't include project work please, I'm trying to figure out if it's possible for them to potentially achieve the same number of points as other students without doing subjects with coursework.

    They can still do subjects that involve projects, they just don't do the projects. They'll miss out on marks though. But it's an option if they need that subject to get into a plc/diploma/degree course.

    Thanks they're a brilliant help, so if I understand rightly there would be enough subjects for them without projects to achieve the required number of points as external candidates? Eg. English, Irish, Maths, French, Classical Studies, Biology, Business. Is that correct?

    There are also components such as oral exams, which while not projects as such, are separate to the written exams.

    The project work need not be out of the question with homeschooling, if you can get even occasional visits from a teacher who can attest that the child did the work themselves. Some subjects require specialist equipment not found in an average home. Will they be entitled to any homeschooling from the Department?

    It might be worth forging a relationship with a local school.

    The dates will be different in future, but the essential info will not be.

    If orals are not ruled out, I think they could take the subjects you suggest, though i cannot hand on heart speak for Classical Studies or Biology.
    History might be another could be considered with some support from a teacher.
